Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this.

Song #2 is the best example of what this band is capable of- heavy riffs and killer vocals, with enough off-beat in the rhythms and vocals to make the music bounce. I hear Uncle Acid (sorta) in the vocals and Candlemass in the music. I wavered over the buy button because there isn’t a lot of variety within each song. If the band consulted the Black Sabbath playbook and threw in some changeups and breakdowns, and mebbe a curveball or two, they could really knock it out of the park.
